Mr. Jensen was born and raised in Golden, Colorado. He moved to California to pursue his undergraduate education and has resided in California ever since. Outside of work, Mr. Jensen spends his time cooking, fishing, skiing and convincing his teenage sons and wife that the best collegiate and professional sports teams are without a doubt from Colorado.

Education

Mr. Jensen holds a B.A. in English from the University of San Diego. He initially worked in the wine industry before pursuing a career in law. Mr. Jensen earned his Juris Doctor from Santa Clara School of Law in 2003.

Experience

Mr. Jensen began his legal career representing plaintiffs and defendants in employment and personal injury cases. Since 2006, he has specialized in workers’ compensation defense, representing self-insured employers, municipalities and contractors in ADR programs. Mr. Jensen has been a conference panelist for several industry organizations. Mr. Jensen first joined Witkop Law Group in 2010 as an associate attorney and remained for almost a decade.  He re-joined the firm in 2024 as a senior associate.
