Mr. Carash was born and raised in the Bay Area, where he continues to reside with his family. In his leisure time, Mr. Carash enjoys golfing, reading, traveling, playing sports and cherishing moments with his wife and two daughters. As an avid sports enthusiast, you can find him rooting for the San Francisco Giants, 49ers and the Golden State Warriors.

Education

In 1997, Mr. Carash graduated from the University of California at Davis, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history. Thereafter, he obtained his Juris Doctor from the Santa Clara University School of Law in 2000.

Experience

Mr. Carash began his legal career working in the accounting field for industry leader PricewaterhouseCoopers. He assisted clients such as CISCO Systems and Hewlett Packard in federal tax issues.

Since that time, Mr. Carash has dedicated the past 20+ years to exclusively representing the workers’ compensation defense community. He has worked with clients of all sizes, including some of the largest employers in the world. Mr. Carash recognizes the challenges and needs of each individual client and works to tailor the best possible defense for each claim. Mr. Carash joined Witkop Law Group in 2013 and remained into 2022. After a brief departure, he re-joined the firm in 2025 as a senior associate.
