Mr. Dyer was born and raised in the Bay Area. Except for his time attending law school and completing the California State Bar Exam, Mr. Dyer has lived in the Bay Area his entire life.  He enjoys cooking, grilling, and smoking food for friends and family.

Mr. Dyer has traveled throughout Europe and has plans to visit Japan and other interesting and cultured places.  Mr. Dyer enjoys being a “girl dad” to his two young daughters.  He and his wife treasure watching their children grow and develop.

Education

After graduating from Saint Francis High School in Mountain View, Mr. Dyer graduated from UC Berkeley in 2002 with a Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, and a Minor in French.  He developed communication skills and connections by working as a recruiter before furthering his education at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, where he graduated with his Juris Doctorate in 2007.

Mr. Dyer clerked for a boutique workers’ compensation law firm in San Jose while in law school.  After passing the California Bar Exam, he began working at a large, statewide workers’ compensation firm, where he stayed for 11 years before joining WLG as an Associate Attorney in September 2019.

Experience

Mr. Dyer has successfully litigated various matters from commencement to reconsideration.  He has settled numerous high-exposure claims and maintains a two-pronged approach to file handling: 1) aggressive litigation; and 2) creative solutions to assist clients with cost-effective decisions.  Since 2014, Mr. Dyer has been certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization as a Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law.
