Ms. Georges was born and raised in the Bay Area. Aside from attending law school in St. Louis, Ms. Georges has lived in the Bay Area her entire life. She loves spending time with her many nieces and nephews and getting to be the “cool” aunt. Ms. Georges is passionate about self-care and enjoys attending Pilates reformer classes several times a week. She is an avid football fan and holds season tickets for both the San Francisco 49ers and California Golden Bears.

Education

After graduating from Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose, Ms. Georges graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2005 with a B.A. degree in political science. Venturing outside of California, Ms. Georges attended Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, where she graduated with her Juris Doctor in 2012.

While in law school, Ms. Georges served as an editor on the law school’s Journal of Law and Policy. She spent one semester clerking with a U.S. Magistrate in the Eight Circuit, working primarily on social security appeals. Additionally, Ms. Georges was a member of the Women’s Law Caucus and chaired their annual charity auction.

Experience

Since her admittance to the State Bar of California, Ms. Georges’ practice has focused exclusively on workers’ compensation defense. She has successfully litigated and settled a variety of cases.  While each case presents its own unique challenges, Ms. Georges likes meeting those barriers head on and taking an aggressive approach to get the best results for her clients. She enjoys working with her clients, getting to know them on a personal level and obtaining the most cost-effective and beneficial resolution.

Ms. Georges is dedicated to the workers’ compensation community. For four years, she served as the sole defense chair for the Santa Clara County Workers’ Compensation Attorney Association, while developing a positive working relationship with the San Jose Presiding Judge, applicant attorneys and med-legal providers.
