Ms. Hom is a Bay Area native who was born and raised in Fremont, California.  When not at work, Ms. Hom enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.  She has a love for fitness and wellness and can often be spotted hiking the trails.

Education

Ms. Hom graduated from San Diego State University in 2006 with a major in political science.  She went on to obtain her Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2009 and graduated in the top 15% of her class.

During law school, Ms. Hom was a fellow at the Panetta Institute for Public Policy, where she worked directly with former White House Chief of Staff Leon Panetta.  Ms. Hom was also a California-certified student attorney at The Katharine & George Alexander Community Law Center, where she assisted with bankruptcy cases.

Experience

Ms. Hom has been practicing workers’ compensation defense since 2010.  In 2012 she joined WLG.  During her tenure at the firm she has obtained extensive experience defending her clients in challenging disputes.  Ms. Hom is well-respected for her client engagement and relationships within the workers’ compensation community.  She believes that taking time to understand her client’s goals, concerns, and values is the key to success.
